Rocklin High School hosted its first homecoming amphitheater activity during Tuesday flex. The amphitheater will host a variety of activities from Tuesday through Thursday to kick off homecoming. All students who sign up are welcome to participate or spectate, with the winners being rewarded with prizes.
Though spectators couldn’t win awards, enjoyment was found simply by watching the games. “You can kind of see what strategies each person has when playing the games that we used to play when we were kids,” said Myles Hudnell, a freshman. It was his first time seeing one of these amphitheater activities, recommending that people watch to strategize and potentially win a prize of their own.
In the first of two rounds of musical chairs, freshman Giovanna Bailey won the first. It was her first time participating in an amphitheater activity. “It seemed fun and my other friends were doing it,” she said.
