On Monday, Oct. 13, the RHS chess club hosted a Blitz tournament for players in Mr. O’Donnell’s classroom, room C-3, after school. Each round was single game only, and the time settings were three minutes without increments. This meant that each player had only three minutes to make all of their moves while playing. The tournament started with 10 players on 2:15 p.m. When the time was nearing 2:50 p.m., Shray Bagga, the club president, decided to hold the final match in Mr. Kirk’s classroom, room K-2, during lunch on Thursday, Oct. 16.
