The Thunder stormed through the tournament, putting up dominant wins: 8–1 over College Park, 6–0 against Serra, and 8–6 over Whitney, proving they belonged on one of the biggest stages in Northern California high school baseball. The game started close, with both teams trading momentum early on, but St. Mary’s pulled away with strong pitching and timely hits. Rocklin had chances to respond but couldn’t capitalize, trailing late and ultimately falling short in the final inning.
