Metal fans these days are all rejoicing at the sight of a brand new album from a favorite band; Tool.

This new album doesn’t currently have a name, but Tool fans do know that it’s coming on August 30, 2019, as confirmed by Maynard James Keenan, the lead singer, on Twitter.

This new album also already has had a few of it’s songs performed live on Tool’s current tour. Both of the songs are “Invincible” and “Descending”, and it has fans through the roof with excitement.

Tool’s discography reaches back to April 6, 1993, when Tool debuted their first album to the world, Undertow. Since then, Tool has created 4 albums, with Ænima in 1996 and Lateralus in 2001 being considered some of their best material. Their latest album, 10,000 Days, was released in 2006, and for 13 long and grueling years Tool fans have been begging for a new album.

Since their full debut, Tool has sold over 10 million albums in the US alone, and as a result have made millions of dollars and have put them onto the front stage of the metal world, mostly well known for their odd acting and strangely clothed lead singer, Maynard James Keenan, who’s voice and acts on stage provide a truly unique experience that really can’t be found anywhere else.

So with this long awaited release from a unique and definitely loved band, there’s sure to be many absences from both work and school alike, with everyone staying home to absorb this brand new material. Tool just isn’t music, it’s a whole experience, and on August 30th, a whole new experience arrives for all to enjoy.
