On March 27th, 2026, Rocklin High School’s cafeteria filled with performers and cuisines representing many different cultures for the third annual Multicultural Talent Show, put on by the Multicultural Club, AYLA, and Latinos Unidos.

The annual Multicultural Talent Show showcases the unique talents, cultural practices, and incredible cuisine of Rocklin High School’s
diverse student body. The show aims to encourage and showcase the diversity here at RHS. Alisa Flores, senior and president of Latinos Unidos, who was instrumental in this year’s preparation and planning, said, “I felt that it was such an important part of our campus to really showcase that the cultural clubs are here. The cultural clubs are active, and we just wanted to do more to promote them.”

There were many incredible performers at this year’s show as well. Esteban Ferrer, freshman, danced folklorico, a traditional Mexican dance, along with a partner at this year’s show. Ferrer stated that he had been doing folklorico since age five, and said that dancing, “[..] just speaks to me very much, because it celebrates not just my culture, but it also shows others what my culture is about.” Junior Amir Zholdassov, from Kazakhstan, performed a guitar cover of a song in Russian by a popular Kazakhstani artist. On performing, Zholdassov stated, “I feel like I did great. I did have some slip ups here and there, but overall, it was a great day, and I’m really grateful for everyone who came in and supported everyone.”
The annual Multicultural Talent Show provides Rocklin students to not only enjoy other cultures, but to also embrace and share their own. Full of fantastic performers, food, and experiences, the Multicultural Talent Show is not one to be missed.
