Rocklin’s season came to an end tonight in a 24–21 semifinal loss to Granite Bay, a game that flipped completely after halftime. After going into the break down 17–0, the Thunder came out with energy and urgency, stacking 14 unanswered points in the third quarter to pull themselves right back into it. What looked like a runaway early suddenly became a real fight, with Rocklin seizing momentum and pushing Granite Bay deep into the fourth. A late score brought the Thunder within three, but the final drive stalled and the comeback ran out of time. It wasn’t the start they wanted, but the finish showed exactly who this team was all season: relentless, disciplined, and never done until the clock hit zero.
