“You’re not going to see your friends every day, and that’s gonna be a really weird feeling …”

“Just having that free period off. Last period, just having six classes has been really nice. I’m trying to balance work and school, and just getting stressed about … honestly I’m not that stressed about college because I’m going to Sierra. So it’s not that big of a deal, but just … that’s a new thing for me. I just got a job this year and so just balancing my six classes and I have, you know AP Lit, AP Econ, and those classes are kind of stressing me out, and just dealing with the fact that I have B’s right now and not A’s. It’s a little rough … I’m not sure what I’m going to major in. I have no idea. I’m gonna go to Sierra. I’m just going to figure it out.”
“My favorite class, even though it’s really difficult I would probably say, is AP Econ. Mr. Hardy is a really good teacher. Right now we’re doing supply and demand. We’re focusing on the unit two test. What I’m hoping to gain from this year, being more prepared and having more of an idea what I actually want to do going forward, even though i’m planning to go to Sierra. I still want to have some direction, so just kind of figuring out what my interests are. I think that would be what i’m most focused on this year.”
“I don’t know if there’s necessarily anything that has surprised me, that I was good at. I guess I’m surprised about the fact that I was actually, these last couple AP exams I’ve taken, I’ve been able to get 5’s. So I guess that’s something I never could’ve seen myself doing when I was a freshman. I didn’t see that happening. That’s been a really good feeling. I never expected that would happen.”
“I’m kind of nervous because that’s just another step towards, it’s just a change. So that’s a big change and it’s a big day. You’re not going to see your friends every day, and that’s gonna be a really weird feeling. Overall i’m excited to graduate.”
