On Monday, Dec. 8th, Rocklin took on Ponderosa in their 6th game of the season. Both teams entered the game with a 4-1 record, and it came down to the final minute. After a big first quarter, Rocklin was winning 27-7. Ponderosa wouldn’t go down with a fight though, and outscored Rocklin for the next 3 quarters. Despite the efforts by Ponderosa to come back, the Thunder held on and walked out of their second away game with a win, 59-57. With the season off to a hot start, the Rocklin look to keep it going and continue improving while the year is still young.
