Modern Family has won the prime time Emmy award more than 20 times and  is an american sitcom that displays a family’s life in a comedic way.

The show stars Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Sofia Vergara, Ed O’Neill, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Eric Stonestreet.  Gail Mancuso, Modern Family’s director, has directed all nine seasons of the show. .The writers, Christopher Lloyd and Steven Levitan, are often described as “creative” and “hysterical.”

Modern Family premiered on ABC in 2009. It has filmed all nine seasons in Los Angeles. The show has a total of 194 episodes. The cast’s salary will escalate to about $350,000 per episode and the average budget per episode is $3.5 million. The average viewer rating is 8.6.

The show consists of three different couples and their kids. One of the couples has three kids and struggle a lot in their parenting as their kids grow up too fast. Another couple, gay, adopt a little girl and face many challenges as she grows up. The last have a boy and are extremely similar to the others.

The show is described as “hilarious” and “hysterical.” Most say giving the show a chance is worth it. The way the drama and comedy come together gives the show an interesting balance. The show is written and directed by smart and funny people.

Most can relate to the struggles the characters face. The obstacles they overcome are understandable and relatable for the viewers and the characters do it in a comedic way.The show makes some viewers literally laugh out hysterically.
