This Week: Homecoming game vs. Woodcreek 10/16

Bright Spots: This year’s Battle of the Shield was hosted at Del Oro. Rocklin fought hard with strong play but lost the fight against Del Oro JV. Both teams played for a good cause and showed sportsmanship throughout the field.

Bright Spots: Defensive player Chase Hatada returned and had seven tackles, had two sacks, and forced a fumble against Del Oro.

 

JV Girls Tennis

Freshman Boys Soccer

League Record: 1-3-2

Overall Record: 4-3-2

Last Week: Beat Granite Bay 3-2 on Wednesday 10/7

Bright Spots: Shane Burton scored two goals and Zach Miller scored one.

They said it: “The refs were hard to collaborate with during the game, but we played through the complications and ended up winning 3-2.” – Nick Cabrol

 

Dance and Cheer

Last Week: Both the cheer and dance teams were starting to put together their homecoming rally and homecoming game routines.

This Week: Cheer and dance team have many extra practices this week, as they are getting ready for Homecoming. They will perform at both the rally and Homecoming football game on Friday 10/16.

They said it: “LDT (let’s do this),” said senior dancer Alexis Ardissone. Alexis says that there is a sign in the dance room saying this phrase, and as the team walks out of the room to perform, they slap the sign for good luck.
