Win or Go Home
Baseball team continues playoffs.
All the hard work put in to get to this place during the regular season has come down to this. The varsity boys baseball team has fought hard to get to the place they are and will have to fight their way through a tough bracket.
The team won their first two games of playoffs, including the last game against a very talented Elk Grove team, winning the game 4-3 following some stellar pitching from seniors, Logan Webb and Ryan Smith.
“It was a good game, Elk Grove had a 17 game winning streak going into the game and we stepped up to the challenge as underdogs and came away with a win,” said Logan.
Their next game is against Davis, another very solid baseball team. They are well known for their reputation and carry a record of 19-11-1 into the game.
“They have a good team this year, they have a solid pitcher who throws hard so it should be a good game,” said Logan.
The team hopes to advance through playoffs and finish off the season strong. The team has high expectations for themselves and thinks they have what it takes to win it all.
