That Awkward Moment

It’s AWKWARD. “That Awkward Moment” starring Zac Efron, Michael B. Jordan and Miles Teller emphasizes the awkward moments in three different people’s relationships.

The movie is based on the different relationships within a friend group. They define that awkward moment, that every relationship will have, as the “so…”; “So, what are we doing?” or “So, where is this going?”. As the movie goes on it shows how men react to the “so” and how each main character overcomes the “so”.

Efron plays the main character; Jason, a single guy not looking for love but falls for it anyway. Throughout the movie he has major commitment issues. Jason is the attractive friend in every friend group, that every girl wants to have a relationship with.

Jordan stars as Mikey. His character’s marriage is slowly crumbling as his friends try to help him move on. Mikey is the charming one; trying his best to please everyone. He goes out with his friends while trying to mend his relationship with his wife.

Teller plays the funny guy, Daniel. He is lost looking for love with his wing-women’s, Chelsea (Mackenzie Davis), help. Daniel is the comical one who finally finds the one he is meant for in the end.

In my opinion this movie is one of the funniest movies so far in 2014. It follows the old fashion love story-line and is fit for anyone who is eager to have fun and love life. There were minor discrepancies of the filming and details of the film. This movie has gotten bad reviews, two stars, but I would give it four stars out of five. This movie is more fitting for high school and college age group. Parents would not enjoy this movie, the majority will ridicule the humor and not understand the “so” moment.

“That Awkward  Moment” is guaranteed to make you laugh and even learn a little about relationships. This is the movie to see whether with your friends or on a date on Valentine’s Day.
