KEY CLUB: donations for Philippines

10,000 dead and counting and they need our help

Recently, the strongest typhoon in recorded history, Typhoon Yolanda, teared through the Philippines and it is now heading towards Vietnam and Southern China. An estimated 11.3 million people have been affected and up to 10,000 may be dead.

Rocklin High School’s Key Club is accepting donations to help the survivors in the Philippines affected by Typhoon Yolanda. They urgently need access to safe water, hygiene supplies, food, shelter, and a safe environment to recover. All donations will go through the Red Cross.

People in the Philippines are in desperate times and they are in need of YOUR help. Key club plans on getting donations from more than just the club itself. They want the whole school to donate just $1 for the Philippines relief effort.

Key Club will be accepting donations at their meeting tomorrow (11/13) during lunch in G1 and further information on donating will be given.
