“It’s definitely one of the biggest struggles so far, it’s just math … Because I feel like I understand one second and then the next I’m totally lost and then I understand again and then I’m lost again.”
“Well being a senior I’m currently contracted to the Marines So I am going to become a mechanic so I leave July 27th. I could be stationed or I could be deployed and that’s overseas but stationed is anywhere in the country … I’m the first in my family to serve in the Military. I saw the Marines as an outlet to really push me to be a better individual. I have been to all the other recruiting stations and with The Army, The Air Force, The National Guard, The Navy, and I really didn’t find myself with those branches, they didn’t call out to me and when I experienced the Marines and how the recruiters treated me, how they talked to me It really showed me it could be a great opportunity for me, I saw the Marines a way to go.”
“My advice would be to stay on your credits cause I love having six classes, stay positive, and always be nice because you don’t know throughout the day what is going through other people’s minds you could say something that could totally destroy someone’s day. Stay close to friends and make new friends, go out of your comfort zone and just be good and stay focused.”
