NHL Finals

The St. Louis Blues and Boston Bruins go head to head for the Stanley Cup.

The Stanley Cup Finals began on April 10, 2019 and will finish on June 12th to close out the 2018-2019 season.

There was a total of 16 teams that started in the playoffs. Now, there are only two teams left.

The Stanley Cup  starts off two rounds where teams who made the playoffs verse each other to progress to the next round. The teams have to win a total of four games and there could be seven games before a team is the victor.

From round two it comes down to the Conference finals where it’s the final four teams versing each other to move onto the Finals. This year, the final four were the San Jose Sharks, Carolina Hurricanes, St. Louis Blues and the Boston Bruins.

The final standings were the Blues winning 4-2 over the Sharks and the Bruins swept the Hurricanes 4-0.

St. Louis Blues and Boston Bruins now verse each other for the important title of winning the Stanley Cup.

There have been two games played between them and now are tied 1-1 games won. They can play up to five more games until a winner is declared.
