Glass is a comic book thriller, directed and written by M. Night Shyamalan from the film series ‘Unbreakable’. With a budget of 20 million dollars, the movie was set up to be an amazing action packed film.

Bruce Willis returns again as David Dunn, Samuel L. Jackson as Elijah Price, most commonly known as Mr. Glass. The actor James McAvoy returns from his memorable role as Kevin Wendell Crumb from the horror/thriller, “Split”. Along with, Anya Taylor Joy, the girl held captive by ‘The Beast’.

It began with David Dunn trying to find the one criminal he couldn’t catch whose name was Kevin Crumb, however his other personalities had not only different names, but different ages and personalities.

This was my personal favorite character because of the surprise factor. There was an eerie factor to his character that none of the others had. Now, Mr. Glass has quite a different persona. This comic-book obsessor is more than aware of David and Kevin’s powers. He is the orchestrator with the secrets and information critical to the film. The movie is easy to follow even if you haven’t kept up with the Unbreakable series.

The movie is quite the opposite of the average hero vs. villain concept. Mr. Glass has the brains, David Dunn could detect any criminal with a simple touch, and Kevin has a split personality disorder. One of those personalities called “The Beast”. He could climb up walls and bend bars, but the specialist Dr. Ellie Staple, played by Sarah Paulson, has an explanation for all of this. She convinced the characters and the audience that the heroes and villains we know and love could all be explained with a disorder and a traumatic past.

The story line is intriguing, but the acting and personas came naturally to each actor and actress, drawing the watcher in even more. From beginning to end, there is a suspense and mystery that any horror/thriller fanatic will love.
