LAST WEEK : Won against Del Oro and Granite Bay

THIS WEEK: Playing Oak Ridge and Whitney

NOTABLE: Roxana Shahi is the only freshman on the team

QUOTABLE: “Emilyn Dizon and I have been friends for a while and for this year we are top doubles. We are doing pretty well and I am happy because we are both good at volleying and this season’s tennis team is really strong.” Yu Xia said.

EVERYTHING ELSE: Team movie night Friday October 12th

Boys Varsity Water Polo

LAST WEEK : 10/9 boys varsity water polo beat whitney 15-14 at Whitney. They play Bella Vista Saturday 10/13

THIS WEEK: They have an away game against Granite Bay as well as a home game against Whitney.

NOTABLE: Jayden Siler receives neck injury in recent game as player on opposing team kicks him in neck.

QUOTABLE: “Im really looking forward to playing granite by because if we when we go to the championship then could ultimately win league.”

Varsity Volleyball

LAST WEEK : Last week Varsity Volleyball beat Folsom 5-1.

THIS WEEK: This week Varsity Volleyball lost to Del Oro but beat Granite Bay 6-1.

NOTABLE: Next week the team has games against Oak Ridge and their main rival, Whitney.

QUOTABLE: Lulu Leppek- “The most memorable event of volleyball so far this season was when we beat St. Francis because they have always been really good so it was amazing to beat them finally.”

EVERYTHING ELSE: During the away Granite Bay game, the team decided to wear pink We Are Rocklin shirts to show their support for breast cancer awareness month.

LAST WEEK : Rocklin High School Dance team learns their friday night lights football routine for senior night against Del Oro

THIS WEEK: Home performance against Del Oro for senior night, last football performance of the season, seniors read their senior letters

NOTABLE: Dance team gets new performance dresses for the 2018-2019 school year

EVERYTHING ELSE: Siena Tom and Gabby Lowell encounter knee problems throughout the season. Addison Cooper has been facing some rib problems.

VARSITY GOLF

LAST WEEK :Finished 4th in SFL#1, beat Oak Ridge away, but lost by two to Whitney.

THIS WEEK: Shot 418 to finish second in SFL #2 and qualify for Division I Tournament next week in Stockton.  

NOTABLE: Celebrated seniors on Thursday- Maddy Davis, Lorin Davidson, Taylor James, Olivia Ragan.

VARSITY FOOTBALL

LAST WEEK : They had a bye, so they are training for upcoming game against Del Oro, our last home game.  

THIS WEEK: The week ahead Varsity faces Del Oro which also doubles as senior night for the football players

NOTABLE: Chris Lutz forges head coach, Mr. Benzel’s signature on his grade check form, so he wears the meatball helmet of shame.  

QUOTABLE: “It’s gonna be a sad night but I’m glad that we get to play DO for our last home game. This season has been rough especially with injuries and at this point it is win or go home. I’m super excited for the opportunity to have a fighting chance against one of the best teams in the section. We have been the underdogs all season and all of the guys have been waiting for another chance to come out on top” Ethan remmers said about how he feels about senior night

EVERYTHING ELSE: Football did a coaching clinic for the next level football program.
