Breaking Down the Walls

Breaking Down the Walls is a program created to bring students together through sharing similarities such as tragedies and overcoming huge obstacles.

A group of people who call them self Learning for Living created Breaking Down the Walls and go to schools and help bring the students together.

They say they want, “School to feel right.”

Phil Boyte, the director of Breaking Down the Walls’ main focus is to spread awareness and positivity around schools by having the students who attend this program really open up to the students around them by answering personal questions and then discussing them in a small group.

This also helps students make new friends and make more connections with the students around them, helping them feel less alone, which is very common in high school.

Breaking Down the Walls will be taking place this week, with the assembly happening today during second block.
