After a controversial end to the 2018 Varsity baseball season, the Thunder have said goodbye to 17 graduating seniors and are well underway with the summer baseball schedule.

After a successful regular season the Thunder finished in a four way tie for second place in the SFL. After a controversial decision by the Sac Joaquin Section, the Thunder were not selected to make the section playoffs, even with an 11 win season in the Sierra Foothill League.

The 2019 Varsity baseball team has moved on, and now will begin a competitive summer schedule.

First up for the new roster is a weekend tournament in Yuba City followed up with a highly anticipated tournament in San Jose and Fresno.  Not only will the Thunder be traveling to compete in these tournament, they will also go through a grueling practice and conditioning program during the week along with games on the weekends.

Leading the Thunder this year on the mound are Ethan Remmers and Daniel Roberts while Bryce Petrilla looks to anchor the offense and return to the playoffs after an unfortunate end to the 2018 season.
