In the spirit of the holiday season, choir will be performing their annual Winter Choral Concert on Friday Dec 15 and Saturday Dec 16. There will be a 7 p.m. show on both days with an additional 2 p.m. show on Saturday.

All of choir will be performing, which includes Concert Choir, Advanced Women’s Ensemble, Men’s Ensemble and Chamber Choir. Each group will be performing two to three songs each.

Some of the group holiday songs that will be performed are “Hark of the Bells,” “Patapan,” and “Dashing Through the Snow.”

They will be performing some non-holiday songs as well, such as “Earth Song” by Frank Ticheli. There will also be several soloists, duos, and trios performing from all of the choir classes.

“After the Creepy Concert,  we got into full Winter Concert mode [and have been preparing since then],” said Lauren Schaack, who is in Chamber Choir.

The show will be about an hour and a half long and featuring some of the most talented singers on our campus. Show support for RHS’s choir program and buy a ticket to the Winter Choral Concert, $7 with an ASB card and $10 without at the student store. Tickets can also be purchased at the door.
