Thor: Ragnarok Review

The new film, Thor: Ragnarok, officially came out on November 2, 2017. Thor has become a smashing hit at the box office, even surpassing the ticket sales of Spiderman: Homecoming. Going to the premiere at 7 PM yesterday, I am eager to write a review for this new film.

Rotten tomatoes rated Thor movie at 94%, a 8.2/10 on IMDb, and 4/5 by Common Sense media. The numbers don’t lie, Thor is an entertaining movie that will keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time. Besides the statistics, this movie is unconventional in every sense of the word. If you are a true marvel fan, you would know how a Thor movie normally rolls.

This movie is close to a comedy at most, and is far more entertaining than the average action movie. The bold colors, futuristic soundtrack, and wit involved in this movie makes it a show stopper in itself. With all these simulates of your senses, you can not help but be wowed by the effects the movie gives you.

The characters involved have been seen before, along with some new ones who are clearly going to affect the Marvel universe in the near future. The new characters are humorous, and helpful to the plotline. With this movie being significantly different from previous Marvel movies, it is a beneficial change.

One could compare this movie to the Guardians of the Galaxy, which was a shock since this new film is extremely unrelated to the previous Thor movies. While the previous movies were more traditional and formal, this one gave off reckless and sarcastic vibes, quite a shock to fans who have followed the Thor movies from the beginning.

This movie was worth the long wait, and anyone who has seen it would definitely recommend it to a friend. While the ending was a shocking one, this is an OBVIOUS lead up into the first of the Infinity Wars movie.
