After falling to a powerful Folsom squad last Friday, Rocklin looks to get back on track against another formidable SFL opponent – Granite Bay.

In the last regular season home game during the 2017 campaign, Rocklin looks to celebrate senior night with a win before entering the section playoffs.

With a strong league record of 3-2 and an overall record of 6-3, the Thunder have secured a spot in the Division 2 Sac Joaquin Section playoffs. However, a win could lock up a top seed for Rocklin entering the playoffs.

The Grizzlies come into this matchup with an overall record of 7-2 and league record of 3-2. With a win against the Thunder, Granite Bay could enter the playoffs as the number 1 seed in the Division 2 bracket.

Rocklin enters this Sierra Foothill League matchup, with a plethora of injuries that the Thunder must overcome in this battle of highly ranked teams. Most notably, the Thunder may be without top Linebacker/ Running Back Blayden Brown, after suffering a knee injury against Folsom last Friday night.

To go along with a tough injury to Blayden, Quarterback Cade Wyant was also forced to miss time against Folsom after suffering a shoulder injury and therefore could be forced to miss extended time as well.

Even with these unfortunate injuries, the Thunder look to bounce back against a talented Granite Bay squad in what could be the final home game of the 2017 season.
