On May 13, 2017, sophomore Evan Terry continued to prove his impressive swim season by breaking school records. He won the 50 meter freestyle and the 100 meter backstroke, and broke records in both of those strokes as well.

“It felt great knowing I broke school records, it was pretty cool,” Evan stated.

Evan has been swimming since he was just four years old, but he took a two year break between the ages of 13 and 15.

“Swim hasn’t been the most enjoyable thing lately, but I am excited to take these achievements and start next season off strong. Evan adds, “One of the perks of swimming is getting the four Varsity letters by the end of high school.”

Evan is excited to see what his future holds for swim.
