Varsity Boys Baseball

Last Week: Meet at Oakridge and a Frosh/Soph tournament against Whitney on Saturday.

This week: League trials on Wednesday and league finals on Friday.

Bright spots: Brenna Videll broke the JV discus record on Wednesday

Boys Volleyball

League Record: 3-9

Last Week: Had their senior night against Nevada Union on Tuesday and lost. Then played Oakridge on Wednesday and lost again.

Bright spots from last week: They had a great time with Senior night and all played very well for both games, even though they lost. Lenard Lomugdang is really good at passing and Nico Studen is also a key player on the team.

Still playing: Vance Gregg, Evan Gustafson, and Lenard Lomugdang are all on the Optimist All-Star Volleyball team and play on June 3rd.

Boys’ Tennis

Overall Record: 17-7

Finished League Record: 8-4

Playoff Record: 2-1

Last Week: Faced Pitman (W 8-1) and Lincoln (W 5-4)

Last match: Took a tough loss against Pleasant Grove ending their season. Top 3 seeded players all took a tough loss in the match. Aidan Urnace, Alex Prince, Matt Carter all pulled off a win as the season came to a finish.

Varsity Soccer:

Rocklin soccer beats Rodriguez 3-2 in Double OT. The winning goal scored by Maddy Morrison in the 97th minute of the game.

Varsity with a 1-0 win against Tracy High School, advances to D2 CIF semi-finals next Wednesday. Maddy Morrison scored 3 of 4 Thunder goals.

Rocklin will play Folsom tomorrow. So far this season, Rocklin beat Folsom 2-1 in April but lost to Folsom 1-0 in March. Rocklin tied with Folsom for fourth place in the league.
