Frosh Soccer

Last Week: Freshman lost to Bella Vista 1-2, beat St. Francis 1-0, and beat Roseville 3-1.

This Week/Upcoming Games: Freshman will play against River Valley tomorrow, Whitney on thursday, and Roseville on friday.

Bright Spots/Key Players: Taylor Hasty

They said it: “Both games were intense,” Brooke Manlowe.

Memorable moments: Taylor Hasty’s goal in the St. Francis game. She shot a cross from the left side of the field, landing the ball into the right top corner of the goal.

JV Soccer

League Record: 6- 4

Last Week: JV beat Oakridge 1-0.

This Week/Upcoming Games: JV plays against Del Oro on wednesday and Woodcreek on friday.

Bright Spots/Key Players: Allison McLain, Elizabeth Russ, Sophie Rau

They said it: “It was fun to watch my team work together to pass the ball,” Angelina Tappero.

Memorable moments: One of our players got fouled in the box, so we got a penalty kick and scored a goal against Oakridge.

Varsity Soccer

League Record: 6-3-1

Last Week: Varsity lost 1-3 to Oakridge.

This Week/Upcoming Games: Varsity plays against Del Oro on wednesday and Woodcreek on friday.

Boys Tennis

League Record: 15-6

Overall Record: 8-4

Last week: Beat Oakridge 5-4 for their last season match of the year. Alex Agelakopoulos advances to the SFL finals and Bardet, Unarce, Milam and Hannegan move on the second round.

Upcoming: The team finishes 3rd in the SFL and advances to the playoffs starting Monday, May 4th.

JV Boys Baseball

League Record: 6-6-1

Overall Record: 8-8-1

Last Week: Beat folsom 2-1 in the series.

This Week: Beat Granite Bay in game 1 and play them again Wednesday and Friday.

Bright Spots: Andrew Mooney threw a great game on Monday against Granite Bay

Girls Track

Last Week: A league meet and an invitational.

This Week: There is a meet tomorrow at Folsom at 3:30. Also, there is an invitational on Saturday.

Key Players: Lindsey settle is definitely the best at sprinting, in my opinion she’s the best at the 200 meter. She just got a scholarship to Chico State for track.

Records Breakers: The relay team holds the record for relays at Rocklin.

Boys Track

Last Week: On Wednesday there was a tri-meet against Del Oro and Nevada Union at home

This Week : On Wednesday there is a meet against Folsom. On Saturday there is the League of Champions meet. Only a few elite players get to compete.
