Mary Lambert’s “Secrets” music video depicts the singer in all her glory as she confesses all of her private thoughts to the world without any doubts. One would probably ponder why Lambert would tell the whole world her confidential information. To counter that, Lambert simply states within “Secrets,” “so what?”

Her song has a powerful message that should ring true to anyone listening: be yourself and accept all of your flaws no matter what. Society is very guilty of forcing people to be someone who they aren’t.
