Freshman Girls Volleyball

Week ahead: Game Tuesday 10/14 at home against Woodcreek. Game Thursday 10/16 @ Folsom

JV Girls Volleyball

Last week: Lost to Oak Ridge on Tuesday. Lost to Del Oro on Thursday.

Varsity Girls Volleyball

Last week: Beat Oak Ridge on Tuesday. Beat Del Oro on Thursday.

Week ahead: Game Tuesday 10/14 at home against Woodcreek. Game Thursday 10/16 @ Folsom. Stockton Classic tournament on Saturday

Overall Record: 17-10

League record: 5-1

Girls Tennis

Last week: On 10/7 tennis played against Granite Bay and won 7-2. On 10/9  they played Nevada Union and won 8-1.

The Week Ahead: Play on Tuesday 10/14 against Davis, and against Oak Ridge on 10/16

Crowd: A big turnout for the match against Nevada Union to cheer on JV and Varsity players.

 

Boys Soccer

Last Week: Last Wednesday, JV and Varsity faced off against league opponent Woodcreek on the road. Varsity won 2-0 and JV won 2-1. Last Friday all levels played league powerhouse Folsom, with the Freshmen losing 3-2 at home, the JV suffering a tough loss of 7-0 on the road, and Varsity winning 1-0 at Folsom.

The week ahead: On Wednesday 10/15, the Frosh have a rematch against Whitney at Rocklin and will play Granite Bay for the first time on Friday. The JV squad will travel to Jesuit for their only game this week. Varsity has a rematch @ Oakridge on Friday 10/17.

Bright Spots: Sophomore defender Grayson Romig on the Varsity team, JV wing Tommy Smith, Frosh goalie Alex Schroeder

Injured: Quarterback and kicker Max O’Rourke breaks his femur against Del Oro. Junior Will Floyd steps in as quarterback in 4th quarter and throws game winning touch down to Wesley Preece.
