As the spring sports season reaches its end, playoffs come up to challenge Rocklin High School’s best teams. One of these teams includes the varsity girls’ soccer team, who will be facing their second playoff game tomorrow on Rocklin’s field.

The team will be facing a season-determining game tomorrow at home versus Rio Americano. According to varsity player Megan Kuo, if the girls win, they’ll move further into playoffs. If they lose, their season will screech to a halt.

Varsity coach Mr. Paul Morrison thinks that his girls have played wonderfully through some tough games, and this upcoming game will be no different.

“SFL is, by far, one of the hardest leagues to play in. It’s a constant battle to keep going through the season. One goal could mean the difference between moving on and not even coming close.”

The girls have already faced Rio Americano once this year and came out victorious with a 1-0 final score.

According to Morrison, “the team that can come together and work together wins. We definitely have the talent to win it, so we just have to wait and see.”

Come to support our varsity girls team tomorrow at the Rocklin High field: The game will begin at 3:30.
