Mock Trial Success

The judge finds Rocklin… victorious! While half the courthouse slumped down in their chairs, the other half sprung up in celebration.

After a prolonged winless streak, the Rocklin High Mock Trial Team has defeated Oakmont High School and will return to state for the first time since 2007. Along the way, the team went undefeated with a 4-0 record.

From March 19-21, the team will participate in the state competition held in San Jose, facing off against other teams from their respective counties (Rocklin will represent Placer Country). All teams will participate in one competition on Friday and three on Saturday, and the final competitors will go head-to-head on Sunday the 21st.

Michael Lang, a Rocklin High graduate and current coach of the team, holds very high hopes for the team and believes that they can move on to compete in national competition.

No matter the result, we wish the best of luck to Coach Lang and the rest of his team as they represent our school and county in this prestigious competition.
