Varsity boys soccer celebrates senior night at their last game
Rocklin High celebrates their first senior night of the 2013-2014 school year. This night is dedicated to the talented athletes who committed themselves to achieving success and representing Rocklin High School for their four years spent here.
“It was a memorable night and I’m going to remember it for the rest of my life,” said senior Bryce Trueman.
Rocklin Varsity boys soccer recognized eight seniors Tuesday night: Jimmy Behnke, Jacob Thibeault, Trevor Wildberger, Eddie Smith, Bryce Trueman, Marc Quarry, Alex Walsh, Ian Henderson, and Spencer Green. They came together one last time to play home and hoped for one final victory but to their dismay, tied 1-1 against Roseville.
“I think we left it all out on the field but we did not play our best game,” said senior Marc Quarry.
Not only is senior night a time to enjoy the last home game they will ever play, but it also takes a toll on the boys’ emotions and causes them to reflect on their time with the soccer team they have played with for four years.
“I was happy to play in front of my peers and show off my awesome skills for them,” said Bryce.
All the boys enjoyed playing their last game together as the seniors of the Rocklin Varsity boys soccer team 2013-2014.
