JV CHEER
Last Week: Rocklin won against Woodcreek, cheer did not perform.
This Week: Home game against Folsom, cheer is working on their halftime this week at practice on both Monday and Wednesday.
Bright Spots: JV practiced all week on their upcoming performance, yet they were not able to perform because it was Woodcreek’s Homecoming game. This means that because Woodcreek’s time-consuming halftime (floats, homecoming skits, king/queen, etc), there was not enough time for Rocklin to perform. The cheerleaders were disappointed, but they understood and got to watch the firework show instead.
They said it: “I really think the boys played a great game which encouraged us to cheer better, they outplayed Woodcreek. It was a proud win for JV because varsity lost later that night. Even though we couldn’t perform at halftime, it was awesome to finally have a football game that was cold enough so we could wear our warm ups. I also really liked the firework show by Woodcreek.” (Taylor Sorenson).
