Meow, I’m not kitten when I say Zootopia is a great movie, not a catastrophe. Fur real doe you should toadally check it out. Though it may seem sealy to make a movie about talking animals, Zootopia was a great turn out. Now I guess I otter stop making animal puns or you won’t give any fox about this movie, just bear with me now.

Zootopia is a place where any animal, no matter how big or small, can achieve their dreams. When Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin) becomes the first rabbit to join the police force, she is immediately underestimated by everyone around her. Desperate to prove herself, Judy jumps in to solve a difficult missing person case. When circumstances become dire, Judy is forced to work with Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman), a trickster of a fox.

As usual, Disney delivered on creating a humorous story with lovable characters, and an important message behind the film leaving audiences members inspired to do more in their lives.

The overall message of this film happened to be to never give up.

Throughout the movie, Judy constantly faces discrimination because of her gender, size and how she is “only just a bunny.” Despite everyone telling her what she can and can’t do, Judy follows through on her instincts and ends up saving the day.

Though the animators at Walt Disney Animation Studios did a fantastic job with the visual aspects of the movie, it seemed as if they were trying to redeem themselves from their first animated feature, Chicken Little, created in 2007. Sound familiar?

There’s a reason why you never see any Disney merchandise for that movie: it was a flop. While watching Zootopia, there were some animals that looked somewhat similar to the ones in Chicken Little.

Despite the animation similarities, Zootopia succeeded on creating an innovative storyline and inspiring its audience members, making it by far one of Disney’s best animated films. This was one of the best animated films to come out this year and you definitely do not want to miss out on seeing it.
