Primer Potion Sure to Please

It’s somewhat dissatisfying to come home after a day of school to see that your eye primer has yet again failed you. The artfully blended shades are faded and creased, quite contradictory to the label which said that it would “maximize the intensity, longevity and brilliance of your eye shadow”.

So if you’re anywhere in the world of makeup, I’m sure that you’ve heard the hype over Urban Decay’s Primer Potion. Popular YouTube makeup gurus such as bubzbeauty use the product and it just makes you wonder if it’s really all that. I mean, if these people who are in the know about makeup love this product, it couldn’t really hurt to try, right?

Well, it wouldn’t if Urban Decay wasn’t quite so expensive. Their normal sized primer potion (11mL which is an upgrade from the previous 10mL) is $20 and if you’re trying to conserve your money, it may not be the best option for you.

But fear not! You can still try this product without cringing when it’s your turn to go up to the register. Urban Decay does sell a mini version of the primer potion that’s half the size and half the price.

I first used this product in a small amount. In fact, a small dab is all you really need for it to work its magic. After coming back from a long day of school, my eyeshadow didn’t have a single trace of creasing.

The price is honestly worth it since such a small amount is needed and the results are incredible. Overall, it really is a wonderful product and after I run out (which won’t be for a while) I plan on getting more.
