Swim Team

Last Meet: April 17th, at Rocklin against Oakridge at 3:30

Important People: Preslee Chase (freshman) won 2nd place in the 100 meter breaststroke, Madison Chase (junior) won 1st place in the 100 meter fly.

Memorable Moments: “Jacob Bauer broke his goggles right before his relay and I had mine, so I gave him mine. He did really well right after and I think he set a PR.” -Lucy Peltz

Boys Track

League Record: Jv boys 1-0 Varsity boys 0-1

Last Week: Thunder Invitational was last Saturday. The Del Oro invitational was on Friday. The first league meet was at Woodcreek on Wednesday

This Week /Upcoming Games: On Wednesday we have a meet against Del Oro and Nevada Union

Key Players: Noah Young is phenomenal at discus

Records Breakers: So far there haven’t been many records broken but people are on the way to breaking some.

Girls Track

Last Week: We had a invitational on Saturday.

This Week: There is a league meet on Wednesday at RHS.

Bright Spots : Anais Tournier clears big heights in the pole vault. She has been doing pole vault for a while and is really good at it.

They said it: “It was a really neat experience to compete against all the other teams [at the Thunder Invite].”

Boys Tennis

League Record: (7-4)

Overall Record: (14-6)

Last Week: Lost to Granite Bay 9-0 and beat Nevada Union 7-2

Upcoming Games:They will be playing at Oak Ridge on 4/23 for their last game of the season

Hot Spot: Ganesh Giri was the standout in the Nevada Union game by bageling his opponent and pulling through as the season is going to an end.

JV Boys Volleyball

League Record: 1-3

Overall Record: 2-11

Last Week: lost to Oakridge

This Week/Upcoming Games: Play Del Oro and Woodcreek

Bright Spots/Key Players: Starting to really work and play as a team

Bright Spots (or Key Players or something like that): Jonathan Fitzpatrick has been pitching very well lately.

Joey Petrissans said: “ I’m glad that we won the series against Woodcreek because that was a rivalry series.”

Varsity Boys Baseball

Last Week: Varsity baseball went 2-1 against Woodcreek last week

Bright Spots/ Key Players: Mike Shoenberger has been playing very good defense lately.

Kyle Schafer said: “ Our hitting was very good on Friday considering we put up 7 runs.”
